Cubism was a highly influential visual arts style of the 20th
century that was created principally by the painters Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque in Paris between 1907 and
1914. The Cubist style emphasized the flat, two-dimensional surface of the
picture plane, rejecting the traditional techniques of perspective,
foreshortening, modeling, and refuting time-honored theories of
art as the imitation of nature. Cubist painters were not bound to copying form,
texture, color, and space; instead, they presented a new reality in paintings
that depicted radically fragmented objects, whose several sides were seen
simultaneously.

Perceptual VS Conceptual artwork
Perceptual art can be define by stimulation of sensory, in other meaning that an artist create an art work through its sensory what he or she feel like drawing or creating for example like optical illusion, 3D arts. The art work must be understood by the mind through sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell. Other than that, for different individual they see perception art might be different from one and another, this is because each individual have different perceptual on how they think of the art .

Conceptual art, the idea and the concept of an art work is the most important aspect of the work or what the artist "thought". After a artist develop a concept "thought" for its art work, planning and decision is a must and are made beforehand. In other hand artist need to be creative on their thought to create an conceptual art work.

Started my foundation in Arts as a student in Help on 2010 and now pursuing my first year degree on Bachelor of Communication (Marketing Communication). I'm not an artistic person but willing to learn from the start to improve my skill on arts and also design and hope to create something from what I have learn from Intro to Design.
So that’s something about me to start with, certainly looking forward to my Intro to Design courses and learn more from it that might come in handy in the future.
